Bahar J. Dave is a strategist, entrepreneur, and world traveler. She is currently the Center Coordinator of COTELCO-The Collaboration Laboratory, a leading research center located at both the School of International Service at American University and School of Information Studies at Syracuse University. COTELCO’s research agenda focuses on cyberpolitics, cyberinfrastructure, and cyberlearning while working to study and build collaboratories in organizations like the World Bank, Institute on Disability and Public Policy, and more.

Previously, Bahar J. Dave devoted much of her time working at Locke Lord Strategies, the lobbying division of the acclaimed law firm, Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell in Washington, DC. Her experience includes writing reports on House and Senate Committee hearings on Capitol Hill, drafting editorials for the Washington Post and the New York Times, and organizing events for international Ambassadors, Heads of State and Congressional members. In the past, Bahar dedicated her time as a Research Assistant, co-authoring a research dissertation concerning human rights violations and financial markets. Bahar was a Richter Fellow. She has also served on the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, School of Foreign Service Alumni Program and Georgetown Undergraduate Admissions Committee. Additionally, Bahar is the Chief Executive Officer for ivypoint Prep. ivypoint Prep provides expert undergraduate application essay editing and high school tutoring services to clients all over the world.

Bahar is currently an evening division law student at American University’s Washington College of Law. As a graduate from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, Bahar studied International Politics with a concentration in Foreign Policy Processes.

Bahar enjoys traveling, watching movies, and teaching Bollywood dance for Doonya Dance, LLC.
